I was fortunate enough last year to be selected to go TDY to Korea for an air exercise, and wouldn't you know it our jet broke in Alaska! Oh it was terrible, the fresh seafood, welcoming atmosphere, great beer, and perfect weather, I don't know how I survived! Absolutely phenomenal place, and I highly recommend at least a week long visit to everyone.

Great shot just south of Anchorage near this highway that snakes along the coastline. We stopped when we saw another photo op, but while everyone was preoccupied shooting pictures of a frozen river, this shot came into my periphery. That background has little editing, and those are the true colors (for the most part).
