One of the cooler things we got to do in my time with the JSTARS program was air refueling. You would not believe how close two 300,000 pound aircraft get when transferring fuel from the tanker to our jet. At the time I thought this was a pretty arbitrary shot, but the low aperture and moderate shutter speed turned out a very sharp picture, which I think can be attributed primarily to the lighting present.
