DC United : Starlight came through with a great evening with DC United. Here, the kids got front row seats to a match against Canada along with some goodie bags and unlimited trips to the concession stand. Everyone had a blast since United came out of the gates hard scoring two goals in the first five minutes!

Lombardi Hospital : Starlight MidAtlantic is a very loyal client of mine that helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. They do some great work and shooting for them is always a pleasure. Every time I go out to shoot with them I am extremely humbled and this time was no exception. These shots were taken at the Vince Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center where the organization had a troop of volunteers show up to give the girls a “day of glamour” and a group of athletes from Georgetown show up to entertain the boys. There was also a local clown act, beauty queens, and costumed heroes on had to contribute to the fun. These kids are soldiers, and I greatly admire the strength the exhibit to push through this difficult time in their lives.

All Fired Up : My second shoot with Starlight, this time we were at All Fired Up located in Bethesda, MD. Here the kids got to pick out a clay piece and paint it. The shop took care of the rest and everyone in attendance really got into the fun, even the parents!

National Gardens Ice Rink : This is my first shoot with Starlight at the National Gardens Ice rink. A lot of fun to be had by all this day, the weather was nice and the sun was shinning down on the park, and no one took to hard of a spill, at least I hope!
